I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Pat. I met Pat when I joined WCEE’s board right after grad school nearly 20 years ago. I loved her energy and optimism. She was so fun to connect with- and it was really impossible to be in a bad mood if she was around. I enjoyed seeing her at WCEE events over the years and can’t quite wrap my head around a WCEE event without her. I offer my heartfelt condolences to her family and friends

Thank you for the zoom link. It was a beautiful ceremony. I loved the testimonies from her friends and Bill. All of them did such a great job of showing different facets of her life. There are no words for how much she will be missed by all of her friends and loved ones. - Colleen Newman

My heart is broken. I cannot believe that my coffee klatch, baseball loving, museum rat, Pat is gone. She was the most vivacious, intelligent, and loving friend to me and so many others. Her enthusiasm for life was infectious. The pandemic was cruel to so many but somehow, we all got through it and then God takes our Pat from us. Bill and Allison – you and your children were her pride and joy. Every time we chat, she shared that joy with me. Sending you love, hugs and sadly my sympathy.

Pat was a blessing in so many ways to our table in the Pastor's Class at Fourth Presbyterian. We all appreciated her thoughtful comments at our weekly discussions, but the love and concern she showed for each member of the table was even more powerful. Please accept my most sincere sympathy,

Pat was a special person in our lives, first through her beloved son, Bill, whom we taught at St Albans School, and for many years since as a cherished and generous friend. We enjoyed Pat’s wit, humor, and energetic presence at several Conn College reunions, holiday gatherings as part of her extended family, and, of course, the famous Memorial and Labor Day cookouts that graciously and cheerfully began and ended the “academic year” that we shared for so long. Her love for her son, his wonderful wife Allison, and her four dear grandchildren was always evident amidst her active life. Pat was a special person and a dear friend whose rich life-experience and depth of insight we shall miss greatly. May she rest in the peace and love of her Lord and Savior until we are reunited forevermore. Wally and Joan
