I'm sorry my friend that it has taken me awhile to write a tribute for you!! Just in shock and disbelief!!! I  wish I knew you were sick!!!! Why didn't you tell me Paul!?!! I do have a good memory. You are also a friend to my late husband Douglas Haefner. You and other friends would come to our house all the time when we lived in Damascus Maryland. You came up to our house after a snow storm. You and Doug took turns pulling Joseph around on a snow saucer tied to a four wheeler. Joseph loved it and you guys had fun too!! Me= trying  to hit you guys with snowballs. The 4 of us had so much fun that day.!!! You've been my friend for 30 years. Have many memories. Especially while we worked together. Thank you for being there for me when Doug passed. Making frequent calls to check on me. Making sure I was alright. That's the kind of person you were. Really did see you as a brother.  Oh my goodness, your laugh!!! Couldn't help it but to laugh right along with you. To this day, I still do that funny thing you taught us with a fortune cookie. Now, I know you and Doug are together again and are watching over me!!  Until I see you again...
Love,
Donna Haefner Rood
